    Job Overview

    We are seeking a passionate and driven General Manager to join our team at Groupe Taddeo Auto.

    This key leadership role is responsible for managing and optimizing the operations of Volvo Laval, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while achieving business and financial objectives. The General Manager operates based on core goals of profitability and return on capital, by performing key duties personally or delegating to department heads.

    They will also be responsible for customer retention and departmental profitability, while implementing sound business management practices.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily dealership operations, ensuring each department runs efficiently and effectively.

    • Develop and manage the annual budget, allocating financial resources strategically.

    • Work closely with the sales team to optimize vehicle sales performance.

    • Lead HR functions including recruitment, training, and talent development.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective advertising and promotional campaigns.

    • Manage vendor and partner relationships, negotiating favorable contracts and building strong strategic alliances.

    • Monitor overall business performance and adapt strategies as needed to meet financial goals.

    • Analyze dealership operations, compare results to targets, and take corrective actions when necessary.

    • Represent the dealership with key clients, the manufacturer, stakeholders, the financial community, and the public.

    • Lead and organize regular executive team meetings and planning sessions.

    • Proven experience in managing Fixed Operations and Sales.

    • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.

    • Business development acumen with the ability to identify new opportunities.

    • Familiarity with process improvement principles is an asset.

    • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
